The Foundation for Excellence will hold its inaugural 5K Foundation Pride Run on Sunday, June 14, 2009. The event will take place at Settlers Park in Plainfield, IL (near Lockport St and Van Dyke Rd - behind Village Hall). Check-in begins at 8 a.m. A fun Walk/Run will begin at 9 a.m. and the 5k Walk/Run will begin at 9:45 a.m. State Rep Tom Cross is named the honorary chair for the event.
