MINI GRANT …by the numbers:

500 dollars available for each grant (any amount up to $500)

11/14/08 date mini grant applications are due to Tom Hernandez, director of community relations

12/12/08 date mini grants will be awarded

2009 January through May - when grants will be implemented

The Plainfield Foundation for Excellence trustees encourage staff members to apply for a mini grant by the November 14, 2008.

Mini grants are used for projects or proposals that enhance or enrich the curriculum at the classroom level. If you have an idea that you’d like to implement in your classroom during the second semester, here is your chance to bring that enriching, exciting idea to life. The Foundation for Excellence is eager to assist you by providing the necessary resources (up to $500) to fund your project.

Please note that this is the first year that mini grant applications are due in November. No applications will be available after the November 14 th deadline. Although all grant applications will be reviewed, all projects cannot be funded.

The Trustees are happy to have received several applications already. Please submit your mini grant proposal today.
