Plainfield South High School hosted its Second Annual multi-cultural event which is designed to celebrate diversity. The get-together allows students, who may not normally meet, to come together and learn about other cultures. When the students arrived they received a passport. Once they have received a stamp from each activity they redeemed it for a "Treat Bag". This bag included either a slinky with a map of the world on it or a stress ball printed as a world globe. They also enjoyes a variety of foods. The student groups involved included:
- Multi-Cultural Club sponsoring games from around the world.
- English as a Second Language Classes sponsoring the weaving of Japanese Crown Knots.
- Anime Club sponsoring, anime style drawing instruction.
- French Club sponsoring Henri Matisse style paper cutouts.
- German Club sponsoring water painting.
- Spanish Club sponsoring salsa dancing.
