PSHS students and parents partner for career planning

The Plainfield South High School Student Services Department presented the first in the series (Parents as Careeer Coaches) of parent meetings with 160 sophomore students and parents attending "Surfing for Success".  The objective for the 4 part series is to partner with parents in developing academic and career decisions with sophomores.

 

The focus was on the PLAN test interpretation and a small group meeting with Student/Parent and Counselor in developing the 4 year academic plan.

 

Future evening programs will be:
January 25 - Parents as Career Coaches
February 3 - Career Cruising Road Rally
March 22 - College and Financial Aid Information Night
