Plainfield High School-Central Campus will hold the annual Senior Car Show on Tuesday, May 24 from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The cars will be on display along the east side of the building near the cafeteria. The theme of this year's show is, 'Hot Wheels.'

Students will show the following cars.

1992 Dodge Dakota
2004 Dodge Srt-4
1990 Lincoln Mark VII
1972 MG B
1986 Nissan 300zx
1968 Plymouth Barracuda
1986 Ford Mustang SVO
1990 Chevy S-10

Seniors from the Senior Practical Writing English class planned the Car Show, designed the application and evaluation rubric, wrote the rules entrants must follow, and will assist in supervising the show.

The Chicagoland Speedway, Sodexho, First Midwest Bank, Corvette Collection, and Snap-on Tools have donated prizes. Special cars that will be on display will be the Chicagoland Speedway Pace Car, as well as, the U. S. Marine Corps Hummer.
