Central Elementary School Principal Linda DiLeo just informed me about a very generous contribution that a local builder is making in conjunction with the school's penny drive for the Red Cross.

 

Having heard about Central Elementary students' efforts to raise $633.58 for the Red Cross, Adam Dontz of Gladstone Builders called the school to say his company would like to help the school make its donation a nice round number. Gladstone Builders will present a check that will bring the contribution up to an even $10,000.

 

The check presentation will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 23 at Central Elementary School (305 W. Lockport Street, Plainfield).
