Students in Miss Bourg's fourth grade class at Grand Prairie Elementary did a coin drive during lunch periods for the American Red Cross Tsunami Relief Efforts. The coin collection raised $283.02. To help with the Tsunami relief efforts, the PTO Market Day Committee decided to donate all of their cookie dough fundraiser proceeds as well. The Market Day Committee sold 500 tubs of cookie dough which raised $2,000. So together Grand Prairie Elementary raised $2,283.02 for the American Red Cross Tsunami Relief Efforts.
