The Breakfast of Champions is an annual event that recognizes the contributions of students by providing them with breakfast during their first period class. During this awards breakfast, each student chooses a gift from those made available through donations from outside organizations or our PTSO.
Nomination forms were distributed to Plainfield High School staff members in early January.
While academics are a part of the nomination process, the intent of the program is to acknowledge those students who have shown improvement or good citizenship.
The program is not limited to top students or athletes.
Each student receives a certificate of recognition and is invited by Plainfield High School Principal, Dr. Lane Abrell, to choose a gift from the available selection. In the past, gifts have included boom boxes, personal CD players, CD’s, tickets to local sporting events, etc.
This year’s Breakfast of Champions for students only will be held on January 28, 2005.
