Plainfield South High School mathematics teacher, Lisa Vladika, has been invited to participate in an international mathematics conference in Beijing, China this December.  The delegation will depart for China from Los Angeles on December 2, 2005, and will travel to Beijing for four days of conference sessions, site visits, and cultural activities.  Conference sessions will explore practices associated with the teaching and learning of mathematics.  This unique opportunity will offer her the chance to exchange ideas with other educators in an effort to enrich the lives of the students she teaches.
