Three Plainfield High School Central Campus students will be honored by the World Organization of Webdesigners for their entries in the National Webpage Design contest.
As part of their desktop publishing class taught by Mary Jo Barney, these students were among students from 40 schools nationwide who entered the contest. Shelly LaFevers at Joliet Junior College invited Plainfield High School Central Campus to participate.
On Thursday, May 12 the students will be honored at an awards ceremony and banquet at Joliet Junior College. The dinner begins at 6:30 p.m., and the awards program will begin in the theater around 8 p.m..
The students will be honored on stage by the President of the World Organization of Webdesigners and their website will be shown as part of the presentation.
