District 202 announces three more administrative hires
The Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 Board of
Education announced the hiring of three administrators at its June 26,
2006 meeting.
Margie Bonuchi was promoted to District Technology Administrator.
Bonuchi came to the district in 1999 as Coordinator of Technical Support
Services. She has assisted with the opening of 14 campuses to date in
her tenure with District 202. In her new capacity, she will supervise
the technology department, develop both short- and long-range plans and
help keep the district up-to-date in the technology field. Prior to her
arrival at District 202, Bonuchi worked as a network administrator at
DePaul University, and also accumulated more than 20 years of experience
in the corporate sector. Bonuchi received her bachelor's degree in
network administration from DePaul. She resides in Plainfield.
Ed Boswell has been hired as Principal at Ira Jones Middle School,
where he has served the last two years in the role of assistant
principal. Boswell first joined District 202 as Dean of Students at
Heritage Grove Middle School, where he assisted in the opening of that
building in 1999. After a five-year stint at Heritage Grove, Boswell
helped open Ira Jones in 2004. His background also includes experience
teaching language arts, social studies and physical education at the
middle school level. Boswell owns a bachelor's degree in secondary
education from Eastern Illinois University and a master's degree in
education administration from North Central College. He is currently
enrolled in a doctoral program at Aurora University. He lives in
Plainfield.
Susan Jawor was selected as the district's Assistant Director of
Special Education. Jawor joined District 202 last year as a special
education administrator, working at Plainfield High School-Central
Campus. Jawor has totaled 33 years working in the field of special
education, with additional stops at Indian Prairie School District 204,
Wheaton School District 200, Elgin School District U-46, Hinsdale
Township High School District 86 and Downers Grove High School District
99. Jawor received her bachelor's degree in elementary
education/special education from Northeastern Illinois University, as
well as a master's degree in special education from Northeastern
Illinois. She has also completed work in a doctoral program at Loyola
University Chicago. She resides in Bolingbrook.
