"Annie Jr." playing at Timber Ridge on April 29
The Timber Ridge Middle School Drama Club will present "Annie Jr."
on Saturday, April 29, in the school's auditorium. Performances are
scheduled for 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
"Annie Jr." is the story of Depression-era orphan determined to
find her parents, who had abandoned her on the doorstep of a New York
City Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils
Miss Hannigan's evil deeds, on the way befriending President Franklin
Roosevelt and finding a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his
personal secretary Grace Farrell and a loveable mutt named Sandy.
Admission is $3 for students and seniors and $5 for adults. Children
under the age of two will be admitted for free.
Timber Ridge, one of five middle schools in Plainfield Community
Consolidated School District 202, is located at 2101 Bronk Road in
Plainfield.
