Plainfield Central wins 13th Suburban Prairie art title
The art department at Plainfield High School-Central campus recently
celebrated its 13th Suburban Prairie Art Conference title. Eight
students, including four first-place honorees, won awards covering six
categories at the event.
The Wildcats received first-place awards in watercolor, sculpture-no
clay, color drawing and neutral drawing. Second-place honors were won in
watercolor and color drawing, while students took away third-place and
honorable mention accolades in acrylic and mixed media, respectively.
Plainfield Central, one of three high schools in Plainfield Community
Consolidated School District 202, is located at 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive
in Plainfield.
