Aux Sable Orientation Night set for May 16

Aux Sable Middle School, the district's sixth middle school that is slated to open in August, will hold an Orientation Night for students who will be attending the school next year. Parents of future Aux Sable students are encouraged to accompany their children to the session, which will be held at Drauden Point Middle School on Tuesday, May 16.

The evening will begin in the cafeteria with a program for incoming sixth grade students and parents at 6:30 p.m. Aux Sable administrative representatives will give an overview and introduction of new middle school programs and the school's staff. At 7:15 p.m., incoming seventh and eighth grade students and their parents are invited for an introductory meeting.

Aux Sable sweatshirts will be available for purchase at the event for $25.

Aux Sable will be located in the southwest portion of Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202, in the Greywall Club subdivision. Drauden Point, the site for the orientation event, is located at 1911 Drauden Road in Plainfield.
