The Environmental Club visited Starved Rock in early February to see the American Bald Eagles in their natural habitat. A year ago, the Environmental Club committed to adopting two Brookfield Zoo animals and donating money to the Save the Mustangs Foundation. The club has adopted a tiger and a dolphin at the zoo, and has donated $100 to Save the Mustangs, an organization started by the Ford Motor Company to help preserve the mustang population...
Jodi Selle's second grade class was awarded a pizza party for collecting the most used cell phones and ink jet cartridges in a recent drive. The contest yielded $76.50 for all of the recycled materials. The club recycles cell phones and ink jet cartridges year-round, and encourages offices that discard these items to recycle them instead.
Meadow View, one of 14 elementary schools in Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202, is located at 2501 Mirage Avenue in Plainfield.
