Plainfield North drama club to put on show for kids

The drama club at Plainfield North High School will put on a pair of shows for its younger fans this weekend. The group will present "Fun Fables with Friends" at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 12, and at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 13.

"Fun Fables with Friends" is a collection of folk tales and stories from different cultures, adapted into a play for children ages 3-9. Colorful storytelling, poetry and an interactive style make it a show worth seeing for children and adults alike.

Tickets are $2 for adults and $1 for children. The show, which will be put on in the school's auditorium, runs approximately 30 minutes.

Plainfield North, one of three high schools in Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202, is located at 12005 S. 248th Street in Plainfield.
