Heritage Grove will offer Internet Safety Night on March 22
Heritage Grove Middle School will host an Internet Safety Night on
Wednesday, March 22, in the school's Media Center. The event, which
will begin at 7 p.m., is geared towards parents and will focus on
keeping students safe on the Internet.
Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow and Detective Sergeant
Dave Margliano (an expert in the High Tech Crimes Unit of the State's
Attorney's Office) will present the program. Parents are encouraged to
find out first hand what their children are visiting on the Internet,
including chat sites and blog sites.
Due to the sensitive nature of the material, Internet Safety Night will
be a parents only event.
Heritage Grove, one of five middle schools in Plainfield Community
Consolidated School District 202, is located at 12450 S. Van Dyke Road
in Plainfield.
