Three District 202 teachers to hold posts with ITHI

Three hearing itinerant teachers in Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 will serve the Illinois Teachers of Deaf/Hard of Hearing Individuals. Brenda Schmidt was tabbed as President-Elect of the organization, while Cyndi Stacy and Tammy Cook will be area representatives on the ITHI board.

At the organization's annual conference last weekend in Springfield, Schmidt was elected to a three-year term. In her first year, as President-Elect, she will plan and run the state conference. The second year she will serve as President and perform all of the duties involved with that role, and in the final year she will serve as Past-President.

All of the district's hearing itinerant teachers work with a variety of campuses.
