Seven Plainfield North students move on to state math competition

Seven students from Plainfield North High School have qualified for the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) state finals after posting outstanding performances at the regional competition.

Individuals qualified in the geometry category, the freshman/sophomore two-person team competition, and the freshman/sophomore eight-person team event.

The ICTM State Competition is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Plainfield North, one of three high schools in Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202, is located at 12005 S. 248th Street in Plainfield.
