Mexican dance company to visit Plainfield North on May 13
The Multicultural Club at Plainfield North High School will present the
Mexican Folkloric Dance Company of Chicago at the school's auditorium
on Saturday, May 13. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
The Mexican Folkloric Dance Company of Chicago is the city's oldest
Mexican dance ensemble. Founded in 1982, it has received numerous
awards, has performed for three U.S. presidents and represented Mexico
at the opening ceremonies for the 1994 World Cup.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $8, or for $10 at the door. The
ticket order form can be downloaded from the school's Web site at

Plainfield North, one of three high schools in Plainfield Community
Consolidated School District 202, is located at 12005 S. 248th Street in
Plainfield.
