Plainfield Central P.E. Dance Show slated for April 28
The senior dance classes at Plainfield High School-Central Campus
participate in the school's annual Physical Education Dance Show on
Friday, April 28, at 7 p.m. in the school's auditorium.
The event will showcase different dance styles that students have been
working on during the year in their physical education dance units or
classes. An eclectic group of dances will be performed, ranging from
Chinese, ballroom, salsa and line dancing to jazz, lyrical and hip-hop.
The theme of this year's event is "Believe." An opening dance
performance of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and a finale of
Yolanda Adams's "I Believe" will highlight the evening.
Tickets for the 90-minute show will only be available at the door. All
tickets are $4, but children under four years of age will be admitted
for free. The school's Parent-Teacher-Student Organization will offer
refreshments, and flower arrangements will be sold at the performance to
recognize the dancers.
Plainfield Central, one of three high schools in Plainfield Community
Consolidated School District 202, is located at 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive
