Plainfield Central to induct 34 into Foreign Language Honor Society
Plainfield High School-Central Campus will induct 34 students into its
chapter of the Foreign Language Honor Society on Wednesday, April 5, at
7 p.m. The ceremony will be presented in all three languages, will
include a candle lighting ceremony, and is slated to take place in the
school's auditorium.
Senior students who have studied French, German or Spanish for more
than four semesters and maintained an honor grade point average (both in
the language and cumulatively) will be recognized. Parents, family and
friends are invited to honor the accomplishments of the foreign language
students.
Debra Mini will induct 12 students into the French Honor Society; Peggy
Francik will welcome seven students into the German Honor Society; and
Nicole Smith and Kristie Buth will preside over the induction of 15
students to the Spanish Honor Society.
Plainfield Central, one of three high schools in Plainfield Community
Consolidated School District 202, is located at 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive
in Plainfield.
