Plainfield Central to add 100 to National Honor Society
The National Honor Society at Plainfield High School-Central Campus
will welcome 100 new members at an induction ceremony in the school's
auditorium on Wednesday, April 19, at 7 p.m. Following the program,
refreshments will be served in the cafeteria.
In order to be eligible for induction in the National Honor Society,
students must be a second-semester junior or senior with a minimum of a
4.50 cumulative grade point average. Eligible students submit an
application for admission; each application is evaluated by a selection
committee (comprised of Plainfield Central staff) that makes the final
selection.
A total of 96 juniors and four seniors will be inducted at the
ceremony.
Plainfield Central, one of three high schools in Plainfield Community
Consolidated School District 202, is located at 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive
in Plainfield.
