Plainfield South PTSO awards 24 scholarships on Senior Honors Night
Through generous donations from a variety of sources, the
Parent-Teacher-Student Organization at Plainfield South High School was
able to award 24 $500 scholarships to members of the Class of 2006 at
the school's Senior Honors Night on May 15. Individuals, groups and
businesses made contributions to the fund.
Included among the donors were: Cardinal Land Surveying, Charles Reed
Elementary School PTO, Crystal Lawns Elementary School PTO, D'Arcy
Buick GMC, Dermatology & Plastic Surgery Associates, Drauden Point
Middle School PTO, Plainfield South Principal Dan Goggins, Grand Prairie
Elementary School PTO, Huntington Learning Center of Plainfield, Herff
Jones Class Rings, Ira Jones Middle School PTO, Law Office of Michael
Lewis, Meadow View Elementary School PTO, Dr. Steve Moravec, Don
Papineau & Associates, Plainfield South PTSO, Ridge Elementary School
PTO, River View Elementary School PTO, Timber Ridge Middle School PTO
and Wesmere Elementary School PTO.
PTSO scholarship donors allow the organization to provide assistance to
graduates as they pursue higher education goals.
Plainfield South, one of three high schools in Plainfield Community
Consolidated School District 202, is located at 7800 W. Caton Farm Road
in Plainfield.
