Plainfield South food drive set for early December

The Plainfield South High School Student Council will host a food drive for the Joliet Branch of the Northern Illinois Food Bank from December 4-8.

One highlight of the week will be a "Pack the Place" night for the school's first boys' and girls' home basketball games of the season. The first 250 individuals who bring a non-perishable food or canned food item to the game will receive a gift from the Student Council.

Plainfield South is one of three high schools in Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202, and is located at 7800 W. Caton Farm Road in Plainfield.
