Annual Collage Concerts set at District 202 high schools

Annual Collage Concerts are on tap at all three high schools in Plainfield School District 202 in the coming days.

Concerts at Plainfield High School-Central are slated for December 5 and 6. Plainfield North is scheduled for December 6 and 7, and Plainfield South is set for December 13 and 14. All concerts begin at 7 p.m.

This special concert features a number of large and small musical ensembles performing consecutively without interruption from different areas around the auditorium. This format creates a "collage" of sights and sounds.

Plainfield Central is located at 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive in Plainfield; Plainfield North is located at 12005 S. 248th Street in Plainfield; and Plainfield South is located at 7800 W. Caton Farm Road in Plainfield.

Plainfield Central's event will be under the direction of Matthew Schlesinger and Sarah Drabant (choral) and Daniel Valkema and Moulee Dutta (band); Plainfield North's concert will be under the direction of Jason Hawkins (choral) and Jason LaVallee (band); and Plainfield South is under the direction of Chris Ruge and Sarah Drabant (choral) and Jerrod Cook and Jeff Kleinmaier (band).
