Food, fun and frivolity will be in abundance at the Plainfield School District 202 Madrigal Dinners, which will be held at all three district high schools. This popular annual event recalls a time 500 years ago when chivalry was the law of the land, kings ruled in splendor, knights tilted for the glance of a fair maiden, and great Madrigals were sung in the courts of mighty lords and ladies.
The performance features the bounty of the "royal kitchen," the splendor of the "king's hall," and the beautiful sounds of the Madrigal Singers, Madrigal Brass, Royal Trumpeters, and Recorder Ensemble.
