Foundation for Excellence Open House set for October 13

The Plainfield School District Foundation for Excellence and the Plainfield Village Preservation Association invite you to an Open House on Friday, October 13, from 3-6 p.m. Come and tour a beautiful four-bedroom, three bathroom home at 25138 Fieldbrook Drive in Plainfield, which is available for purchase in the Dayfield Farms subdivision in Plainfield. Food, soft drinks and wine will be provided by local merchants.

Proceeds from the sale of the home will be divided between completing the renovation of the 1847 School House (located on Howard Street near the District 202 Administration Center) and the Foundation for Excellence.

Hometown Builders performed the construction management, while Chassell Bay Group assisted with the construction administration. First Midwest Bank financed the project, and labor, materials, supplies and services were all discounted or donated for its completion.

The Foundation for Excellence is an independent, non-profit organization comprised of citizens committed to the development of enrichment programs and services that make a significant contribution to the quality of education. The Foundation for Excellence is a 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.
