Walker's Grove collecting for "Pennies for Patients" in November

The Walker's Grove Elementary School Student Council will be collecting spare change for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s "Pennies for Patients" program from November 6-30.

"Pennies for Patients" will provide Walker's Grove students with the chance to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's efforts to find cures for blood cancers.

Walker's Grove students will give their donations to their classroom teachers, and a representative from the Student Council will collect the funds from each classroom once weekly during the drive.

Walker's Grove is one of 14 elementary schools in Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202, and is located at 24810 W. 135th Street in Plainfield.
