Plainfield South Student Council to host pumpkin painting for elementary students

Plainfield South High School's Student Council is once again welcoming students from its neighboring elementary schools to a Pumpkin Painting Party, which will run from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 26. Nearly 80 youngsters, ranging from kindergarten through third grade, have already signed up for this event.

Elementary school students from Charles Reed, Meadow View, Ridge and Wesmere Elementary Schools are invited to the event. For $5, each child receives a small pumpkin, a treat and the paints to decorate his or her pumpkin. The pumpkins have been donated from Keller Farm Stand.

Plainfield South is located at 7800 W. Caton Farm Road in Plainfield.

For more information, contact Plainfield South Student Council sponsors Pam Brand or Megan Malcolm at (815) 439-5555.
