Plainfield/Slidell Toy Drive to have drop-off points in District 202 schools

The Village of Plainfield is holding its 2nd Annual Christmas Toy Drive for Slidell, La., and selected elementary schools in Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 will serve as drop-off points during the drive, which will run from Monday, October 23 through Wednesday, November 22.

Slidell is Plainfield’s "Sister City" and was the recipient of more than 2,000 toys from last year's inaugural drive after enduring Hurricane Katrina. This year, the Village of Plainfield is requesting new, unwrapped children's toys and new school supplies, which will all be delivered to Slidell.

The following schools have been designated as drop-off points for the Slidell Christmas Toy Drive:

Central Elementary School - 23723 Getson Drive, Plainfield
Creekside Elementary School - 13909 S. Budler Road, Plainfield
Eagle Pointe Elementary School - 24562 Norwood Drive, Plainfield
Lakewood Falls Elementary School - 14050 S. Budler Road, Plainfield
Lincoln Elementary School - 14740 Meadow Lane, Plainfield
Walker’s Grove Elementary School - 24810 W. 135th Street, Plainfield
