Two meetings are typically held during the months of November, January, February, April, May, June, September, and October. One meeting is held in March, July, August, and December, with a second meeting scheduled in July if required. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed.
All regular meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. and are held at the Administration Center, 15732 Howard Street, except as otherwise designated. At the beginning of each meeting, the Board of Education goes into
executive session. The public portion of the meeting typically begins
around 7:30 p.m.
Except for posted holidays, the Administration Center is open during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the school year and the summer months.
The first meeting of the month is designated as an instructional study session at which the primary focus is on educational issues. The last (or only) meeting of each month has been designated as the official business or bill-paying meeting.
