District 202 will make every effort to see that safe transportation is provided for students.

Parents are advised that during inclement weather, bus schedules may vary as drivers adjust to changing road conditions. During adverse weather conditions when schools are open, parents are requested to personally supervise the safe loading of children on buses and have contingency plans available in case the bus driver is unable to come to their particular bus stop.

Please note there will be times when cars can travel streets that buses cannot. So that the last riders can be transported as nearly as possible to the normal time on return trips home, bus departure from school may begin earlier than the usual time. If parents bring students to school when buses cannot get through, they are responsible for transportation home (unless the roads are opened during the day).
