Checking Out Books
Library books may be checked out for a one-week period. Kindergarten comes to the Media Center as a class to select and check out books. The rest of the students come to the Media Center in small groups to check out books.

Book Check-Out Guidelines
Books are checked out for one week and may be renewed for an additional week. Kindergartners check out only one book at a time. Students in grades 1-5 may check out two books or one book and one magazine at a time.

Overdue Books
If a book is overdue, an overdue notice will be sent home. We do not charge for overdue books.

Lost or Damaged Books
If a book is damaged or lost, the student is responsible for paying the replacement cost of the book.

Birthday or Special
Occasion Book Club
You can celebrate your child's birthday or other special occasion by donating a new or gently used book to the Media Center. We prefer hard cover books because they are more durable. We will place a nameplate in the book and your child's name will be added to our Birthday/Special Occasion Book Club bulletin board.
