Wow! What a record breaking week; first, "The Dark Knight" and now District 202 laptop sales (selling all 270 within 3 hours).  The District's first used computer sale was a great success, so good in fact that they choose to add an additional day, Saturday July 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., to meet the demand of the public.  Now a few notes:
  • The District 202 Board of Education held a special board meeting Thursday, July 24 to discuss items that were inadvertently left off of Monday's agenda. You can read the meeting notes from both meetings here:

Plainfield North team physician's donation could save lives
Dr. David Burt, the team physician at Plainfield North High School since it opened in 2005, is planning to make a life-saving donation to benefit the school, students and greater community. For the whole story, click here:

District 202 Board of Education unifies school ID policy across all four high schools
Beginning this fall, all District 202 high school students will be required to have their student IDs on their person at all times while on school grounds, but will not be required to wear them outwardly. For the whole story, click here:
