We prepare learners for the future.
District 202 Education Partners, hello!

Now that we're past the Cubs-Sox baseball hoopla, this weekend will bring some REAL fireworks! As always, the District 202 news continues. But first, a few notes:
  • We will host four "Community Coffees with the Superintendent" next school year. (See the item below for more information.) These will replace the Key Communicators network, which ran its course last year. The first Community Coffee, held last May, was very successful. So please feel free, and encourage others, to take advantage of this new opportunity to get District 202 information directly from the source.
  • Just FYI, for those who pay attention to such things, the Board of Education will meet only once in July and only once in August, as is always the case for summer.
Have a safe, festive Independence Day weekend!

Plainfield Central grad's essay earns $1,000 Jiffy Lube scholarship
"My name is Zack Bakewell and I love film, I love making films and I love filming skateboarding. I am very passionate about the films I make, I love making people laugh and that drives me to make more and more movies." Those first two sentences in an essay helped recent Plainfield High School-Central Campus graduate Zack Bakewell win a $1,000 scholarship from Jiffy Lube. Bakewell had to explain what motivates him to live life and achieve. For the whole story, click here:
