PSAE is a required test in Illinois that all high schools must administer. All students in their junior of high school take the test in April each year. This test takes two days to complete and is comprised of the following:
The test is very important! The results are recorded on the student transcript and students with high scores are awarded with a merit notation on their transcript. Students are expected to be present on both Day 1 and Day 2 of the test. Attendance is mandatory. Students will be required to make up the test at another date, if absent. At PEHS, we are familiarizing our students with test formats and test-taking strategies. At home, students can prepare for the test by going over sample questions and materials provided by their teachers.
