Hi! Welcome to the 2008-2009 Plainfield North Girls' Volleyball Program.
We look forward to meeting you all this spring and this summer on the volleyball court!
Our philosophy is simple: We will embrace the great opportunity to build a winning program of academic, athletic and talented TIGERS while striving for a WINNING season.
The 2008 season looks to be very bright based on the successful foundation that has been built in the last THREE years here at PNHS. We have earned SO much success!
In 2007, the Tigers ROARED through the southwest suburbs and through the SPC Conference at ALL levels. Freshman had a VERY winning season going: 17-8 overall and finishing top in their tournaments played. Varsity reached a milestone by winning the most games in any sport in Plainfield High School history *(118 years)!

The sophomore team finished as SPC Conference Champions with an overall record of 23-5 and finished in the top 3 of every tournament played in during the 2007 season. Varsity was graced with 3 very talented sophomores who started: Kylee Baker, Sarah Scott, Kayla Evans. They will lead the varsity way in the years to come.

In 2006, we built at all levels of PNHS Volleyball. Freshman had good finishes in tournaments played and in their regular season. Sophomores were the PNHS Invite Champions for the first time in school history and finished strong in other tournaments played as well as in their conference. Varsity, in their first year as a varsity team, were the SPC CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS with a 12-2 record
and finished top 4 in other tournaments played. Varsity also developed 3 All-Area Players along with 3 All-Conference players and the District 202 Female Athlete of the Year. Varsity also finished the state-run post-season further than any other Plainfield school since 2001.
We hope that you will come and join us this summer and see if PNHS Volleyball is where you'd like to make a new friend, learn the game of volleyball and enjoy competing.
The 2008 summer season is full of competitive volleyball experiences, learning volleyball experiences, and for every player- improvement experiences.
