| THIS IS SIGNED BY THE STUDENT ONLY POLICIES and EXPECTATIONS 1. Be in your seat when the bell rings. Remain in your seat until the teacher informs you of the agenda for the day. 2. Do not take your materials from your shelf until instructed to do so. If you come to class before the bell rings you may begin to work, but keep in mind that ALL STUDENTS MUST BE IN THEIR SEAT WHEN THE BELL RINGS. 3. Students that are not in their seat when the bell rings will be considered tardy. (See Student Handbook) 4. Students should remain in their seats at all times. 5. Students are permitted to talk quietly with their immediate neighbor only, (NEVER ACROSS THE ROOM) unless their talking interferes with their work time. Such students may have a permanent seat change. 6. Please raise your hand for assistance from the teacher. If several students are in need of assistance, then the teacher will try to assist all students as soon as possible. 7. Students are expected to give their full and silent attention to the teacher or guest when instructed to do so for a directive or demonstration. 8. All projects are to be completed in class. Students may enhance their project outside of class with approval and instructions from the teacher. 9. Turn in assignments on time with project rubric. Your name must be placed on all parts. Credit cannot be guaranteed for those students that do not place their name on their work. 10. Projects must be turned in at the designated area assigned by the teacher. Do not leave your project on your shelf. IT WILL BE CONSIDERED LATE. 11. DUE DATES: Students will be given additional days to work on their assignments outside of class, but cannot work on projects during class after the designated due date. Arrangements must be made with the teacher ahead of time. Extended time will not be given for those students that do not use class time properly. 12. LATE PROJECTS: 5 points per day will be deducted for late studio work. NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 5 class days. 13. ALWAYS come prepared for class. |

| TARDY
POLICY: 1. All students must be in their seat when the bell rings. A student that is getting supplies, walking into the room, or out of their seat for any reason will be considered late. 2. All tardy infractions will be recorded and referred to the office per building policy found in your handbook. |
| ATTENDANCE: *****It is important for all students to make an extra effort to come to class. This class is studio based and most work cannot be taken home. 1. All students will receive 5 points per day. This will be discussed in class. 2. A zero will be given for days students are not in attendance. 3. A student that has received an excused absence will receive their points if they make up the time missed during study hall, before, or after school. Unexcused absences cannot be made up. 4. If a student is ahead, and does not need to make up their time, the student can assist the teacher with various jobs during class time or study hall to earn their points. 5. If a student misses twice (unexcused) during the duration of a project, and can sufficiently maintain the completion of their current project, the project will be accepted for a grade at the teacher’s discretion. No extended time will be given to complete work. After 3 or more days the student will be graded on what is finished. 6. Students will be given one day for every day missed for excused absences. After 2 days the make up work will need to be completed outside of class. |
