GRADING: 

Your grade will be based on the following:

50% - Studio Work/Research Projects
15% - Daily Participation Points, Plans and Sketches
15% - Tests, Quizzes, and Portfolio
20% - Final Exam

All work will be graded on a point system according to the requirements of the assignment. You will receive these points based on your demonstration of the concepts, effort, creativity, craftsmanship, and professional presentation. The student should consider all assignments and studies of equal importance.

Based on a 5 point scale
Each criteria will be given points as follows:
(5) A= OUTSTANDING WORK/ EXCEEDS:  
Directions were followed, most objectives were clearly illustrated, excellent craftsmanship, original ideas/product, mastery of techniques, shares knowledge and ideas in class discussion.
(4) B= GOOD WORK/ SLIGHTLY EXCEEDS:
 Followed directions, many objectives were clearly illustrated, good craftsmanship, originality evident, mastery of techniques shares some ideas in discussions.
(3) C= AVERAGE WORK/ MEETS EXPECTATIONS:
Followed directions, concept/goal/objectives are not clearly illustrated, shares very little discussion, little originality used.
(2) D= BELOW AVERAGE/ DOES NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS:
 Did not follow directions, concepts/goals, etc. are not illustrated, projects may be unfinished, does not share ideas, shoddy work.
(1 or 0) F= DID NOT ATTEMPT/ did not do work or did very little to complete goals and criteria.
