General Expectations:
* Immerse
yourself in the
language! Speak German as much as possible - with me, at school,
at
home,
everywhere!
* Immerse yourself
in
the culture! Read books, magazines, use the internet to
find
current info.
Classroom Expectations:
* Respect all
class members
at all times – you get respect when you give it! Listen carefully
when
anyone
in the classroom speaks – talking when someone else is talking is
totally
unacceptable!!
* Come to class
prepared
with your folder or binder, book, workbook, pen/pencil.
* Do not fold and
put
papers in books; it wrecks the binding and you have to pay for any
damage
to the book.
* Get to class on
time
everyday - PSHS tardy policy is enforced! Please see your student
handbook
for
guidelines
* Do not have candy,
food,
or drinks in class. This is my house for 7 hours everyday, please
keep it
clean.
* Do not have
gum.
If I see you with it, you will come after school to clean desks.
* Sit in your
assigned

see

Missed assignments and Make-up work:
* If you are absent,
it
is your responsibility to get the missing work.
* I will keep a
folder
with all homework assignments and worksheets.
* Being absent
doesn’t
relieve you from being responsible for what we learned in class while
you
were
gone!
Please see me to get any missed assignments or classwork.
* If you miss a quiz
or
test due to an excused absence, it is your responsibility to arrange
with
me
when you
will
do the make-up.
* If you wish to
re-take
any quiz, please see me and we can work something out. Everyone
can
be
successful
with hard work!
