Mr. Chris Ruge

Mr. Ruge is in his fifth year as Director of Choirs at PSHS. He has participated in honor choirs at every level, including ACDA Jr. High Honors Choir, Wisconsin State Honors Choir, and Wisconsin Ambassador Choir, an adult auditioned group which toured Europe for two weeks. As a director, Mr. Ruge has sent numerous students to honor choirs from the local to ACDA national level. He earned the Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and the Master of Music Education degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, most recently working with the Grammy Award-winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. Mr. Ruge is also active in music at the Evangelical Free Church of Naperville. He has previously taught at Plainfield HS - Central Campus and Morrison (IL) HS. He resides in Plainfield with his wife Emily. |
