After
completing step six, return to turintin.com and click on the user login button
on the homepage.
§ Enter your email address and password then click on the login button to access your faculty homepage.
§
Click on the add
class button on the faculty homepage.
o You should create a class for
each period you teach. If you only plan
on submitting papers of a suspect nature you will only need to create one
class.
§
Enter a class name and enrollment
password, which students will use to enroll in your class.
o
Make
the password easy for your students to remember (e.g. “English 10-5)
English 10 fifth period.
§ You also need to select a level for your class.
§ When you are dome click on the “submit” button.
§ You will see the class ID, a number that is generated by Turnitin.com for each class. You will also see the class enrollment password that you chose earlier. Students will need both the class ID and the class enrollment password to enroll in your class and submit a paper.
§ Click on the class name to access the inbox. From the inbox click on the assignments tab on the toolbar.
§ Click on the new assignment link. You must select a start date and due date. Start date is the first date you will accept an assignment and the due date is the last day you will accept an assignment.
§ There are three options for analysis of papers:
nothing-draft (may use for peer editing)
§ Select a name for the assignment, fill in the required fields and “submit.”
