Learning Power Essay

Remember that ideas are the premium. This is the process of critical thinking, in that each and every paper is your strong opinion in the art of addressing a question and/or a problem. You must choose subject matter important to you, and close to your own sense of self.

• 3-5 pages (must be a minimum of three full pages)
• Typed
• Double Spaced
• Font of 12
• Times New Roman
• MLA Format
• Title Page
• Works Cited
• Minimum three separate sources
• Minimum six in-text citations, either direct or paraphrase
• Number your pages (do not number the title page, do not number the works cited)
• Title only at the top of the first page of essay (no header)

***Introductions – Attention, Background, Thesis (thesis must be last sentence of introductory paragraph)

***Conclusions – Reassert the meat of your thesis (never repeat thesis word-for-word in conclusion); express what is learned in the writing of the paper/reading and/or exploration of essays/subject; make global applications (this issue is still not resolved); look to the future (so it is really not a conclusion, per se, but a consideration)

***Always work to exceed minimums
