Congratulations on even making it this far. Because I know from experience if you have made it this far you have been working pretty hard the past few years. I will tell you that Calculus is a lot easier then Pre-Cacl or at least I thought so. Pre-Cacl taught you all the hard ways of doing things and Calculus is all the short cuts you wish you knew last year. If you are not that great at memorizing things, there will be times that you will have trouble. Although there are some excellent songs that you will possibly sing in class that will help you remember some things. When AP testing comes around and you plan on taking it try not to stress about it. I am not going to lie and say it is easy, because it is not in the least bit. There were quite a few of us who did not complete some parts on the written part of it, so obviously it is not easy. Overall though, I would have to say that Calculus has been the best math class so far. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed everyday of it, as hard as that might be to believe. I suggest that you do all of your homework, most of the time you never get a ton so it does not take that long. I know that most of the time I complotted mine during the 25 minute study hall this year. And if you get time in class to do your homework, do it, it will make your life so much easier in the end. Ms. Finn is definitely the best math teacher ever and d you will absolutely love her to death. She is so great and she is a very understanding teacher and will help you whenever you need it, so do not ever hesitate to ask her questions. Calculus is a great class, especially if you love math. It is a lot easier than you think it will be, just remember to always memorize the things that you need to in this class because it will keep coming back in later chapters, it really will. So have fun this year, no matter what age you are. But if you are a senior have a great year and good luck in the future!
