Dear Calculus Student,

First off, have no fear because you have Ms. Finn as a teacher and she is an excellent teacher and she will teach you so much about Math. Calculus is a very easy class if you pay attention, take notes, and attempt the homework. Secondly, if you take the AP test, be prepared! If you don’t study for the test then you will find yourself struggling. If you’re good at studying math, then take the test; it will help greatly in the future and you might not have to take math in college! J Just because this is a college level course, don’t worry; Ms. Finn will help you out so much. It is not as bad as you might think it is too; you’ll fly by this class with A’s. Ms. Finn also makes sure that you don’t fail this class and she’s willing to do anything in order for you to get a C or higher. Ms. Finn also makes the class fun; so don’t worry about math being boring. As long as you think positive in this class and are well- prepared, you’ll succeed in this class.

I wish you the best of luck in this class. I hope you do well and I hope you decide to take the AP. Even though the AP is hard, I think it is a good idea to attempt to take it because you’ll never know if you end up getting college credit for it; and besides you only need to pass the test with a 38% to get college credit! I had a lot of fun in Calculus this year and I learned a lot. You’ll enjoy Ms. Finn’s attempt at drawing J and you’ll also enjoy singing Calculus songs that relate to math. Just remember, pay attention in class and take notes and you’re gaurenteed to suceed in this class. Good luck with Calculus and your senior year!

                                                                                                Sincerely,

                                                                                    Fellow Calculus Student
