Dear incoming student,
I would like to wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors and your Calculus Honors course. I have a few suggestions for you that could help you in the year to come. Always come to class prepared because there is usually time at the end to work on the homework. I would suggest keeping organized notes separated from your homework. I found it easier to keep track of the homework, and study for tests. During tests just try your best. If you did a lot of work for a problem but not sure about its correctness, leave the work so you will still get partial credit. If during a test you find yourself stuck on a problem, I would suggest sing to your self all the songs that could possibly help you. This just might lead you to the answer to the problem. If you become an active student in the class, and participate during the lessons you will have little to study for when it comes time for the test. My most valuable suggestion is to become friends with your teachers, because a recommendation letter from my calculus teacher has enabled me to go to my top college choice. I wish you the best of luck, and courage to complete this course with flying colors.
          Sincerely       A Senior of 2006
