Course Description:
This course is designed for students who
intend to pursue fields of study needing higher math after high school. Some of the topics that will be included in
this course are: solving higher order equations and inequalities, analyzing
functions and their behavior (trigonometric, logarithmic, and exponential),
probability, data collection and analysis, sequences and series, and an
introduction to limits. This course is
designed for students who have demonstrated a strong foundation in Algebra 2
Honors and is the prerequisite for Calculus Honors. All of the topics in Precalculus are covered in greater depth and at a more
accelerated pace. More emphasis is placed upon the theory of equations, and
topics are approached from graphic, numeric and symbolic points of view. Graphing calculator required

Your grade in this class will be determined by the following percentages:

75% Tests and Quizzes

15% Daily Assignments
· 10% Semester Exam
Classroom Procedure:
This includes your book, notes, calculator, etc

Passes:
(This tardy will be left to the discretion of the teacher)
In order for any passes to be issued the student must have their own Agenda Books with them (No Sharing) and the pass section of the book intact.

I am available for extra help both before and after school. If you need help, please see me to arrange a time to get help. It is easier to get help while learning the material, then to try and play catch up for a quiz or test.
