For a set of data
Can we use it to predict?

We’ll find that out later!

First we find r and r

To see how they are looking

r near 1 and r high

Now we’re really cooking!

Next we check residuals

Looking for a pattern

If we find one, that’s not good

We’d rather see them scattered

If that fails we’ll try log y

And see if that looks better

If not then we’ll try log x

Make it a double header!

Once we get results we like

We’ll make an equation

Use it to predict but just

Avoid extrapolation!
