Quick FACTS about the density curve:
*Is always on or above the horizontal axis
*Has exactly 1 underneath it when all the numbers are added together
*A density curve describes the overall pattern of a distribution. The area under the curve and about any range of values is the proportion of all observations that fall in that range.

Median:
*Is the equal areas point of the density curve. It is the point that divides the area under the curve in half.

Mean:
*The balance point of a density curve. The point at which the curve would balance if made of a solid material.
